With the past seven days behind us, we take a look back at player and personnel moves from around the league
Rosén
It was a very quiet week this week in the SHL off season, with no new signings to report. However there was one player who has announced his retirement.
Växjö Lakers legend Robert Rosén has made the tough decision to hang up his skates for good. The 37 year old has had a long and successful career that has spanned 20 years. In 12 seasons in the SHL he played 597 games, scoring 178 goals and 253 assists. He also won 4 Swedish championships with Växjö and played a total of 15 seasons with the team.
- It has been a roller coaster with anxiety, sadness, confusion and stress. But I have landed in the fact that I played my last match. I've tried to train a few sessions with the team and myself and it's going well as long as it's at a hobby level. But when you need to go out and do the extra, the energy and drive is not there. I get a feeling of satisfaction and see it as a sign that I've been doing this for a long time and my body and mind are satisfied, says Rosén.
